It has been found recently that building services maintenance may not have been a high priority for some business, where this has been the case nearly always the systems performance has degraded to a level where occupants experience poor comfort levels along with excessive energy consumption.
In some cases where poor comfort levels have been experienced attempts have been made to improve the situation by the installation of additional systems which consume yet more energy.
Comfort levels can and would have been restored by bringing the building services back to the original requirements of the designers and at a fraction of the cost of installing supplementary systems.
